W 1500/H
Shuttle kiln W 15000/S in customized dimensions, electro-hydraulic lift door and shuttle running on rails as an option
Shuttle kilns offer many advantages for cooling, decorating or sintering special glass in production. The shuttle can be loaded outside the furnace. Several shuttles can be used, so that one shuttle can be charged while the other shuttle is in the kiln.
- Tmax 900 °C, 1280 °C, 1340 °C or 1400 °C
- 5-Sides heating: all four sides and shuttle
- Automatic power contact of shuttle when moved into the kiln
- Heating elements mounted on support tubes for long service life
- Floor heating protected by SiC tiles on the bogie providing level stacking floor
- Multi-layer insulation consisting of lightweight refractory bricks and backed by special fibre insulation
- Side walls and door are doubled-walled with result of low outside temperatures
- Self-supporting roof arch
- Freely moving shuttle with rubber tires
- Adjustable air inlet damper as standard
- Vapour vent in the furnace roof
